Ayurveda and Panchakarma

Ayurveda or the science of conscious living is one of the oldest healthcare systems of the world. In our clinic we practice, evidence based authentic Ayurveda. Panchakarma therapies are various forms of physical therapies done for curing diseases, preventing diseases and for sustaining health. Our therapies are done by well-trained therapists and using excellent quality products. We pay special attention to good hygiene practices and the therapies are done in a calm and serene therapy rooms.

Sharing the wisdom of Ayurveda, yoga, Holistic Nutrition, ACT is a passion for us. We offer a variety of long duration and short duration courses. These courses can be arranged as per need and can be done in person or online. We also teach Basic and Advance courses in collaboration with our global partners.

Coaching

We use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) model for counseling. We offer counseling for Anxiety disorders and Depression. We also use ACT for coaching sportsperson and persons working in the corporate world to improve their performance and outputs. Some commonly asked questions

In Ayurveda, various metals are indeed used in therapeutics but there is a very stringent guideline as to how these materials need to be processed before they can be used. If the formulations are well prepared, they are safe for use. However, as with any medicine, proper guidance is required from a trained professional before using them.

Any substance that comes in contact with the human body has a potential to create some harm. So yes, if the therapies, herbs are not correctly chosen they can have unwanted effects. However, normally these unwanted effects are not life threatening and subside on stopping the substance that cause the unwanted effects. An Ayurveda physician carefully examines the person and then prescribes much individualized solutions; hence, the chances of unwanted effects are very less.

Although most of the original scriptures of Ayurveda have been written in Sanskrit, nowadays translations and interpretations of these scriptures are easily available. Knowing Sanskrit can give the added benefit of learning directly from the original text but that is not a necessity.

Panchakarma therapies are cleansing therapies; they require certain pre-therapy preparations and post therapy diet restrictions. Panchakarma therapies are not hard if correct selection of therapy according to the person’s constitution and condition are done.

No, ACT is a model that does not believe in the syndrome-based model of mental diseases. It is a very humanistic model, designed to help humans to flourish and live a value guided live. Psychological suffering is not labelled as a disease but looked at more as an human experience and therapies are targeted to react to the psychological pain in a more open and accepting way.
