Physician-Led. Individually Designed.
Clinically Supervised.
Every treatment at PranaVeda begins with a thorough consultation — not a menu selection. Your plan is built around you, your constitution, and your condition.
Ayurveda Consultation
The foundation of all treatment at PranaVeda is a detailed Ayurvedic consultation. This is not a brief appointment — it is a comprehensive assessment of your Prakṛti (constitutional type), Vikṛti (current imbalance), Agni (digestive capacity), and Doṣa status using classical diagnostic tools.
Classical pulse diagnosis — reads Doṣa status through the radial pulse
Tongue examination — reveals Āma load, digestive health, and organ status
Detailed history covering diet, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and disease evolution
Every consultation concludes with a fully individualised treatment plan — which may include Panchakarma therapies, Ayurvedic medicines, dietary guidance, lifestyle recommendations, and integrated Yoga therapy.

Panchakarma — Classical Detoxification & Treatment
Panchakarma is the cornerstone of Ayurvedic therapeutics — a structured programme of preparatory, primary, and post-treatment procedures designed to remove accumulated toxins (Āma), restore Doṣic balance, and renew the body's natural functioning.
At PranaVeda, Panchakarma is always physician-prescribed, therapist-administered, and clinically supervised. It is not spa treatment — it is medicine.
The Three Phases of Panchakarma
Preparatory procedures — internal oleation (Snehana) and external oil massage to mobilise toxins
Primary elimination procedures — the five classical actions that expel mobilised Doṣas
Post-treatment care — dietary protocol and medicines to consolidate the treatment outcome
Our Panchakarma Treatments
Abhyaṅga — Medicated Full-Body Oil Massage
Therapeutic massage with warm medicated oils selected according to your Prakṛti. Indicated for stress, joint disorders, neuromuscular conditions, dry skin, and as preparation for deeper Panchakarma procedures.
Shirodhara — Continuous Forehead Oil Stream
A continuous, rhythmic stream of warm medicated oil or herbal decoction poured on the forehead. Deeply effective for insomnia, anxiety, migraine, hypertension, stress-related disorders, and neurological conditions. One of the most recognised Panchakarma treatments internationally.
Basti — Medicated Enema Therapy
Administration of medicated oils or herbal decoctions via the rectal route. The most powerful Vāta-pacifying treatment in classical Ayurveda, indicated for constipation, joint disorders, neurological conditions, lower back pain, and chronic fatigue. A Basti krama (course of multiple Basti) is the hallmark of classical Panchakarma.
Virechana — Therapeutic Purgation
Controlled purgation using Ayurvedic medicines to eliminate excess Pitta from the body via the gastrointestinal tract. The primary treatment for skin conditions, liver disorders, digestive diseases, and inflammatory conditions. Preceded by internal and external oleation.
Nasya — Medicated Nasal Administration
Instillation of medicated oils or herbal preparations through the nasal route. Indicated for sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, chronic headache, migraine, hair loss, premature greying, neck stiffness, and neurological conditions affecting the head and neck region.
Śiroabhyaṅga — Head & Scalp Massage
Medicated oil massage of the head and scalp with specific techniques and pressure points. Indicated for hair loss, premature greying, dandruff, insomnia, mental fatigue, and stress-related headaches.
Karṇapūraṇa — Ear Oil Therapy
Instillation of warm medicated oil into the ear canal. Indicated for tinnitus, earache, temporomandibular joint disorders, cervical stiffness, and Vāta conditions affecting the head and neck.
Patra Pinda Sveda — Medicinal Leaf Bundle Fomentation
Fomentation using bundles of fresh medicinal leaves tied in cloth, dipped in warm medicated oil and applied to the body in rhythmic strokes. Indicated for joint pain, stiffness, muscular disorders, and degenerative joint conditions.
Netra Tarpana — Medicated Eye Bath
Medicated ghee is pooled around the eyes using a dough ring and retained for a prescribed time. Indicated for dry eyes, computer vision syndrome, eye strain, early degenerative conditions, and Vāta-related eye disorders.
Upanāha & Lepana — Poultices & Medicated Applications
Application of medicated pastes or herbal poultices to affected areas. Indicated for localised joint pain, inflammatory swellings, skin conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Marma Therapy
Marma are the 107 vital energy points described in classical Ayurvedic texts — junctions of Prāṇa (life force), where physical structure and subtle energy meet. These points are mapped in the Suśruta Saṃhitā and are as fundamental to Ayurveda as acupuncture points are to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Marma therapy involves precise stimulation of these points through pressure, medicated oils, or Agni (heat), producing therapeutic effects both locally and systemically — improving circulation, releasing structural tension, and balancing Prāṇa flow.
At PranaVeda, Marma therapy is supervised by Dr. Salil Joglekar, who has taught Marma therapy to practitioners across Europe.

ACT-Based Coaching & Psychotherapy
Psychological wellbeing is inseparable from physical health. At PranaVeda, Dr. Salil Joglekar — who holds an MS in Psychotherapy — offers evidence-based behavioural coaching and counselling using the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) model.
ACT is not a symptom-suppression model. It works by helping you develop psychological flexibility — the ability to respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with openness, and to move toward what genuinely matters to you in your life.
Unlike traditional therapy models that attempt to reduce or eliminate unwanted thoughts and feelings, ACT teaches you to hold them differently — so they no longer drive your behaviour or limit your life.

Frequently Asked Questions
No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to book a consultation. If you are currently under the care of another physician, we are happy to work alongside your existing treatment plan.
An initial Ayurveda consultation at PranaVeda typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. We take a comprehensive case history, conduct Nāḍī Parīkṣā (pulse diagnosis), Jihvā Parīkṣā (tongue examination), and other relevant examinations before recommending a treatment plan.
Yes. Both Dr. Salil Joglekar and Dr Neha Joglekar offer online Ayurveda consultations and Dr. Salil Joglekar also offers ACT coaching sessions via video call, available to patients across India and internationally. Dr. Neha Joglekar also offers online Yoga therapy sessions.
Panchakarma at PranaVeda is physician-prescribed medicine, not wellness spa therapy. Every treatment is selected based on your constitutional assessment and current clinical condition. Procedures are performed by trained therapists under direct physician supervision. The medicines, oils, and protocols are classical Ayurvedic prescriptions tailored individually — not generic packages.
In most cases, yes — Ayurvedic treatment can be safely integrated with modern medical care. Both Dr. Salil Joglekar and Dr Neha Joglekar have extensive experience in integrative clinical management and will review your current medications before recommending any Ayurvedic formulations. Please bring a list of your current medicines to your consultation.
Please bring any recent investigation reports (blood tests, MRI, X-rays), a list of current medications and supplements, and details of your medical history. If you are coming for a specific condition, any previous treatment records are helpful. Do not have any stimulants (tea, coffee, smoking) 30 minutes prior to your consultation and do not eat for 2 hours prior to the first consultation (this is necessary for the Nadi pariksha).
Absolutely. ACT is as effective for performance coaching, life transitions, and general wellbeing as it is for clinical conditions. Many clients who use ACT coaching at PranaVeda are high-functioning professionals seeking clarity, direction, or relief from chronic stress — with no psychiatric diagnosis whatsoever.
This varies significantly by condition and treatment modality. For ACT coaching, a structured 4–8 session programme addresses most presenting issues. For Panchakarma, programme duration ranges from 3 days for introductory treatments to 21 days for classical full-course Panchakarma. Dr. Salil or Dr. Neha will give you a clear recommendation after your initial consultation.
